Truth Guns: I felt like an imposter on my own podcast show.
For the past 18 weeks, I have asked countless guests (many of them being people I’ve never met before our call) to come on the show, speak their truth, share their journey, and open their vault of vulnerability.
But I have failed to do the same. While I’m a very social person and even host the show, I’m often very protective about what I share. When I post on social media, it’s with intention. When I speak on the podcast, I’m able to have control over everything from who I’m talking to, to the actual production of the episode.
Protective mode, is something I didn’t even realize I was harnessing, until my 1-on-1 healing session with Reverend Frances Fayden a few weeks ago. Since then, it’s almost as my life has progressively been challenging me… with the purpose of healing me.
I decided to share a little more depth than I normally do, in this week’s podcast episode.
Oh, and the BEST part about this conversation? Sherile Turner joins me to help guide me through dealing with all my struggles and lack of self-compassion.
This might be the episode of the year!
