When I first became a mom, I was 21 years old, in my 3rd year of college and was one of the first of my friends to have a baby. Shortly after entering motherhood, I started my entrepreneurial journey and realized that becoming a work-from-home mom was extremely rewarding, yet extremely isolating.

Have you ever found parenthood and business to be a lonely hood to be in?

This week’s guest found herself feeling those feels, and she decided to do something about it.

This week guest Ashley Meyer, founder of The Mompire (formerly ‘Mommies Hiring Mommies’). Ashley spent years building her legal career, and when it came time to have children she was eager to find a community of moms she could relate to. But what she found didn’t quite work for her. She felt out of place when her worlds of work and life couldn’t coexist. Desperately searching for a space to be fully “her,” she came up empty-handed. So, she drew on that fiery passion and created Mommies Hiring Mommies, a community all about, and for, moms doing it all!

Ashley joins me to discuss:

– How Community Impacts Your Business
– Balancing Motherhood and Business
…and MORE!
