When I was in high school, I vividly remember taking the Myers Briggs Type Indicator assessment. While I’m not 100% sure on my results that year, I do remember my preference was Extroversion.

Now, if you know me, you know I’m far from an extrovert. In fact, I think if you looked up the word Introversion in the Thesaurus, “Lauren Smith” would be a synonym 😉

Now, I took it the MBTI second time in college, my results significantly changed. I’m unsure if I was more developed as a person and more confident in myself, or maybe that I wasn’t being true to myself the first time. Either way, the second time (and every time I’ve taken it since), I’ve been deemed an INFJ.

But what’s the deal with this assessment and why should we be aware of our personality types, anyway?

There’s no one better to bring in to discuss this than Margi Bush.
