Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year; I love the decorations, the holiday spirit, the season of giving. Not to mention it’s Capricorn season (say’s the Capricorn). ANYWAY – Christmas is magical.

But Christmas as we know it is very different than what Christmas looked for many of our ancestors. Have you ever wondered what Christmas was like in the early 1900’s? Over 100 years ago? How about what Christmas looked like, 116 years ago?

Lucky for us all a relative of mine shared a letter that my Great Great Grandmother, Eula Coston, wrote in 1969. And while 1969 was not too terribly long ago, Eula was born in 1896 and the letter recalled Christmas was when she 7 – which would have taken place around 1903.

I invite you listen to this episode and get taken back to a simpler time.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and may all of your blessing be abundant.

With Love,
L
