ABOUT
Megan is from a small town called St. Marys, PA. She moved to Pittsburgh in 2010 to attend Robert Morris University and joined the FASTER staff in May of 2014 upon graduating RMU with a Sport Management degree. As a former athlete on the track and field team at Robert Morris, sports and fitness have always been a part of her life. Megan enjoys motivating and helping people to reach their goals and finds client success and happiness as the ultimate reward of working in the fitness industry.
As the FASTER Fitness brand has continued to expand over the last few years, so too has Megan’s role with the company. She has progressed from being a part-time trainer, to the assistant manager of one location, to the general manager of FASTER Pittsburgh, to now overseeing all the FASTER Fitness locations as well as the FASTER Supplement line. Her most recent venture comes as a partner and director of operations for Gymsupps.org (a private label supplement company).
In 2015, at the age of 23, Megan became ill. She went through rigorous testing to try and figure out the root cause, ultimately finding that she has Aplastic Anemia (a bone marrow disease) and an Autoimmune disease that has yet to be formally diagnosed. She has learned a lot in 6 years trying to navigate her illness, day to day life, work, relationships and more and is hoping to connect with anyone going through a similar battle to try and offer any support and guidance.
